Before starting the test, make sure that you have read and understood all instructions provided with the kit and do not eat or drink for at least 15 minutes before you perform the test.

Step 1 Collect

  1. Remove the cap after taking out the dilution, and place it horizontally on the table. Tear the pouch to take out the saliva collector. Gently swab the cotton pad along your upper gums for 5 to 6 times and then use the other side of the pad to swab your lower gums once again. Remember not to swab your teeth.

Step 2 Test

  1. Immerse the saliva collector directly into the dilution tube for 6 to 8 times. Break off the upper portion of the saliva collector and leave the cotton pad in the dilution tube. Last, replace the cap tightly and shake it back and forth for 20 times.
  2. Tear the pouch of test cassette and place it on the table horizontally. Remove the bottom lid of dilution tube and place 3-4 drops into the specimen area of the test cassette.

Step 3 Wait

Read the test result at 10-15 minutes. The test result is invalid after 20 minutes.

Result Interpretation: POSITIVE: Two complete lines, even if one line is faint, means you may be HIV positive; NEGATIVE: one line on the “C” area and NO line on the “T” area, your result is HIV NEGATIVE; INVALID: there is no line on the “C” area, the test result is not working and needs to be repeated.

Last, remember that while this test provides quick results, it should not replace regular medical check-ups or consultations with healthcare professionals regarding sexual health practices and prevention measures against sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Stay safe!
